Emma Winter through the LOFFT LENS
Presenting La Tribe Creative Director Emma Winter through the LOFFT LENS.

Your go-to La Tribe style?

My go to La Tribe style is the platform boot, it has a raised platform sole and simple zip feature. I love the timeless silhouette and it works perfectly with knitted dresses or tights and oversized white shirts. I am also excited to get a pair of braided thongs to pair back with maxi dresses this Summer.

What/Who inspires you?

Right now, I am inspired by Japanese architecture and design, in particular the art of wabi-sabi. I love the earthy imperfection of it. It has inspired our upcoming ‘Autumn 22’ campaign shoot and colour palette. I have also been dabbling in Ikebana floral arrangements for our showroom as a creative outlet.

A cause you are passionate about?

At La Tribe we are passionate about empowering and uplifting women. We are excited to have recently launch a new blog series called In Her Shoes which features women who have carved successful careers where gender inequality is sadly still happening. They share their struggles and advice on how they achieved their success. Our hope is that this general knowledge sharing and creating conversation around gender inequality will help encourage and change views and opinions for the better.

Your career highlight to date?

When Jacinda Ardern our NZ prime minster chose to wear our La Tribe Penny heels when she was sworn in as prime minster.Your go-to La Tribe style?
